Bigi Pang
A nature resort situated in district of Nickerie 13.600 hectare big, is a paradise with 122 sorts of birds. Bird lovers will have a great time in this resort. The Jamarcanal that was dug by hand in 1953, dug again in 1960 with the help of machines ,flows into the Nickerie river. Because of the dam the boat has to be pulled over it to be able to continue the trip to the Bigi Pang resort. In this resort you have a great view over the water from the beautiful guesthouse.
Day 1:
After a beautiful trip on the water you can take a nap in a room especially made ready for you. In the afternoon we get on a boat to go bird watching. We come back to have supper and after that it’s time to go watch the alligators.
Day 2 :
We start with breakfast and then we go to the river mouth to enjoy a bath in the mud. After an hour or so you can clean up in the canal, step in the boat to go back to the guesthouse. After you had a great dinner and a nap, you will be asked to get ready for the trip to Paramaribo.
